Leaky holding tank pumpout

I have #334. Brand new. The pumpout mechanism bolted behind the head bulkhead developed a leak in the diaphragm. At the time our holding tank was about 85% full and on a bouncy day, effluent found it's way to the pumpout and overflowed into the head and bilge. What a mess. I have submitted this for warranty repair. I may request that they remove it. I don't see much need as pumpouts are fairly common. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions?
