The trailing edge of my keel was damaged this summer, apparently by the mooring chain getting wrapped around the keel. I also had this problem with my J80. Any suggestions? We're considering using a small mooring sail on the backstay, or adding a weight to the mooring chain 8 or 10 feet below the surface to keep it reasonably vertical most of the time. Has anyone tried either of these solutions? Thanks.
