The J/109 Class Association Forum

As a new owner of hull #266 I would like to know what OD events are planned for the Southern New England area, and the schedule/location for the 2014 NAs. Since I currently own a J/30 and a J/109 I need to coordinate what events we can race in.

A suggestion for the J/109 Class - the North Americans should be scheduled with a three year outlook for dates and location so that the participants and organizing clubs can plan. We started doing this about 5 years ago with the J/30 class and it has resulted in better participation.

I just checked the schedule page and see that the 2014 schedule has now been posted.

Since the results are not posted on the class web page, I thought it was appropriate to recognize the new J/109 North American Champions. Congratulations to Jim Vos and the Skoot crew for the line honors.
Rounding out the top 5 finishers were:

4. Mad Dogs and Englishmen - Adrien Begley
5. Gut Feeling - Ted Herlihy
It was a very competitive fleet.
