Since you are in Southern New England, the following might be considered:

• Hull #30 in Darien, CT listed on J/Boats Brokerage site & McMichaels listing and the broker is co-owner on another J/109
• Hull #283 in Raritan, NJ (previously for sale but taken off market - I believe owner is interested in selling) Class Website listing
• Hull #167 in Norwalk, CT Class Website listing

There are also two shoal draft versions available (Hull #103 & Hull #241) in South East US but for racing here in New England, probably not what you are looking for.
